چکیده
Pinch analysis is vital in optimizing heat exchanger networks (HENs). Targeting methods are used when determining cost effectiveness with pinch analysis. However, the existing targeting for capital of HEN not suitable wide application scenarios. Therefore, we developed a high-accuracy general capital-cost-targeting method. It built on final structure that was evolved from spaghetti through four loop elimination stages. This helps to reduce prediction deviation To achieve high adaptability while establishing this method, considered different categories, laws one stream pair, and area limitations exchangers may be encountered practice. In addition, allowing streams use individual temperature difference contributions enhances method’s predictive capacity. The potential defects method found numerical experiments case studies were corrected improvement measures. As result, accuracy stability further enhanced, absolute target deviations generally within 10% often 5%. study provides benchmark optimal HEN, better economic effect applying

COST OPTIMUM HEAT EXCHANGER NETWORKS-l. MINIMUM ENERGY AND CAPITAL USING SIMPLE MODELS FOR CAPITAL COST
An important feature of heat exchanger network design is the energy-capital tradeoff. This tradeoff has been regarded as complex due to the number of structural network alternatives usually available, each being subject to continuous optimization. Current procedures tend to first identify minimum energy networks. The total cost (capital and energy) can then be improved by evolution and continuo...

At many circumstances, in heat exchange processes several exchangers were used with different cost laws due to their pressure ratings, materials of construction and exchange3r types. In such circumstances traditional methods of pinch technology can not be led to minimum total annual cost may cause some other disadvantages like more complexity or higher maintenance. This paper presents a simple methodology for cost estimation of a near optimal heat exchanger network, which comprises mixed materials of construction. Intraditional pinch technology and mathematical programming it is usually assumed that all heat exchangers in a network obey a single cost model. This implies that all heat exchangers in a network are of the same type and use the same mate...
